While living in or visiting Montana, please be prepared for some new protocols and safety precautions

  • Know before you go: Know the local public health guidelines before arriving at your destination.
  • Stay home if you’re sick.
  • Understand some services and destinations may be limited.

There is no longer a 14-day travel-related quarantine in place. Governor Steve Bullock is asking visitors to do their part slow the spread of COVID-19 which means taking the same social distancing and sanitation precautions as Montanans.

  • April 26 – Places of worship may reopen with limited capacities.

  • April 27 – Retail stores will be able to reopen with reduced capacity and under measures to ensure physical distancing. Gyms, pools, and hot tubs will remain closed. So will movie theaters, performance theaters, concert halls, bowling alleys, bingo halls and music halls.

  • April 27 – Personal care businesses, like salons and tattoo parlors, will open but customers must be screened for symptoms.

  • May 4 – Bars, restaurants, casinos, and breweries can start on-site service if they adhere to strict physical distancing guidelines and under reduced capacity. Breweries have always had an 8 p.m. closing time, and now bars, restaurants and casinos must close by 11:30 p.m.

  • May 7 – all schools have the option to return to in-classroom teaching, dependent on the directions given by local school boards.

  • The 14-day self-quarantine will remain in place for out of state travelers.

The following is an excerpt from the VisitMT.com site:

As of March 30, Governor Bullock is directing that travelers arriving from another state or country to Montana for non-work-related purposes undergo a 14-day self-quarantine. For travelers arriving at any Montana airports and rail stations, temperature checks and screenings for potential exposure history may be conducted by the Montana National Guard to further protect against the spread of COVID-19. Effective through April 10, this Directive also advises vacation listing and rental sites to notify potential out-of-state renters about the quarantine requirement.

If you are traveling in from out of state, our sales team has been directed to ask you if you have self-quarantined for a 14-day period. We encourage you to look through our website to view photos, virtual tours, maps, videos and renderings of our homes. Our governor has issued a mandatory stay-at-home order for all “non-essential” Montana working residents.

Construction has been deemed an essential service and as such we have made the following adjustments:

  • We have suspended model home hours until further notice and will conduct private showings only.

  • All meetings (whether in office or with outside companies) will be held virtually.

  • Any ‘at risk’ employees and employees who live with at-risk family members/friends will work from home.

  • Construction crews will continue working on site while exercising safe practices as recommended by the CDC, such as social distancing.
